CopraPeek

Ultaire AKP
Ultaire™ AKP is a new high-performance aryl ketone polymer (AKP) from Solvay Dental 360™. This high-performance polymer is specifically formulated to meet critical performance requirements for dental applications, including removable partial denture (RPD) frames. Ultaire™ AKP is not a flexible material, but rather it is a rigid product, suitable as a metal replacement, and provided in a disc form (known as Dentivera™ milling disc) designed for use within a CAD/CAM digital workflow.

DuraFlex's most distinguishing benefit derives from its material makeup, as it is not a nylon base but rather a polyolefin thermoplastic polymer. This material has been used in the medical field for years because of its inert, durable and resistant quality to many chemical solvents, bases and acids. With a water resorption rate that is ten times lower than nylon, DuraFlex is extremely resistant to stains and odors, making it a durable and color stable flexible solution. In addition, DuraFlex is much easier to adjust and polish as it will not gum up.
Preparation/Impression
DuraFlex provides a natural, snap-fit for retention. No tooth or tissue preparation is required. Simply send a master cast poured promptly and carefully from an alginate impression along with opposing model and bite registration.
Adjustments/Polishing
DuraFlex adjusts more cleanly than nylon thermoplastics so there is no gumming of your instruments. It can easily be adjusted with the same burs used for acrylic. Polishing can be accomplished with a 50% course/50% fine pumice using a rag wheel only (no brush wheels). For a high shine, simply use a rag wheel and lightly buff (on a slow lathe speed) using Tripoli buffing compound. We also offer a polish kit to simplify the process.
Add To/Reline Procedures
All tooth, clasp, or saddle additions/repairs must be completed in the laboratory using DuraFlex thermoplastic. We can rebase, reproduce, repair and add teeth and clasps to DuraFlex. If a reline is indicated, simply remove all adhesives from the tissue side of the partial and take a rubber base wash impression in a closed mouth position. Then take an alginate pickup impression, pour immediately and send to the laboratory.
VisiClear
VisiClear is a state-of-the-art thermoplastic for making clear clasps. It is 100% monomer and nylon free, strong, flexible, and stain resistant. VisiClear can be used to make clear flexible partial dentures as well as adding clear aesthetic clasps to metal frames. The possibilities are endless.
DuraCetal
DuraCetal is a pure, highly crystalline acetal copolymer resin possessing high tensile and flexural strength, fatigue resistance, and hardness. These properties, when combined with its very low moisture absorption, make DuraCetal an ideal, light weight alternative to cast metal partial denture frameworks. Availble in 22 shades, it is also indicated for clasps, unilaterals, and provisional crowns and bridges.
